Las Vegas police ID man shot to death after argument
The Clark County coroner’s office on Friday identified the Las Vegas man who was shot and killed Sunday after an argument turned physical at Siegel Suites on Boulder Highway near Sahara Avenue.
Robert Edward Holland III, 29, died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center from gunshot wounds to the torso.
According to Las Vegas police, Holland got into an argument with 36-year-old Luis Pimentel and was shot.
Pimentel fled the scene by bus and was apprehended shortly afterward near Fremont Street and Bruce Avenue, police said. Pimentel was booked into the Clark County Detention Center Sunday on one charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
