The man involved in what Henderson police said was a murder-suicide Saturday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Police responded to the 600 block of Karen Way, near Van Waganen Street and South Major Avenue, about 11 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, the daughter of 45-year-old Wade Adams told police she discovered him dead in his home.
Henderson police and firefighters went into the home and found Adams and his wife, who remains unidentified by the coroner’s office.
According to police, Adams’ wife died from an apparent gunshot wound to the head and Adams died from an apparent overdose, although the coroner’s office has not yet released his official cause of death.
The woman’s death is the first homicide in Henderson this year, police said.
