The Las Vegas Review-Journal is hiring a   Bilingual Multimedia Journalist   The candidate will be responsible for gathering information, shooting, editing, writing, and delivering video news content for reviewjournal.com and our Spanish language platforms to support espanol.reviewjournal.com. This covers a variety of content including but not limited to: breaking news and feature stories. The MMJ will serve as video talent originating material from the newsroom, studio, or on location. This position also has duties as a videographer and editor.    Requirements:   • Bilingual (Spanish) and proficient in delivering our content in both English and Spanish as needed. • 2-3 years editing experience preferred • 2-3 years on camera experience preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • News writing following AP and Review-Journal  standards. • Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a live video environment. • A consistent presence on social media platforms working with the department heads to adhere to company guidelines and follow the strategy outlined. • Ability to work as a team player in the newsroom and build news contacts in the community. •  Ability to work a flexible schedule for breaking news and special content opportunities. •  Write, shoot, edit video with speed, efficiency and creativity in studio,  newsroom, or field environment. •  Preferred experience working with the following platforms: AP, Avid Media composer, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Panasonic video equipment, LiveU, Wordpress, Merlin, GPS, Instagram, Facebook, XProfessional voice and on camera appearance. •  Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record. •  Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. • This position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.   We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) with company match. This position manages all aspects of the Packaging Department including staffing, equipment maintenance, insert operation, commercial bindery operation, mail delivery, warehousing and deliveries to internal and external customers.   Job Responsibilities ? Responsible for staff development ? Manages all shipping and receiving activities ? Must be flexible to change direction at the last minute when necessary ? Responsible for the quality of all products during shifts supervised ? Maintains  effective communications with all departments involved in a specific job ? MARKETING COORDINATOR   The Las Vegas Review- Journal is in search of a Marketing Coordinator, a pivotal role that will bolster our day-to-day marketing and event operations, product campaigns/launches, branding, and community initiatives. The coordinator will have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments, including sales, digital, editorial, client strategy, and ad coordination, making a substantial contribution to our overall operations. The position will also support Events Marketing and RJ signature events that promote Review-Journal branding and products that impact specific target audiences, including maintaining event social media pages and event websites. The coordinator will be vital in organizing, communicating, and mobilizing event participants and sponsors to meet event goals and execution.   Required Skills: ? Minimum of 1-2 years of coordinator and/or marketing experience supporting events, projects or team ? Strong oral and written communication skills ? Must be able to multitask and support multiple marketing and events projects and be well-organized ? Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite ?
